Plate II — Passage Plans

Three proven passages, plotted day by day

Every charter is custom, but three passages anchor almost every good Raja Ampat itinerary. Start from one of these and the desk adapts it to your vessel, season and party.

// The one distance we publish as verified: Sorong → Arborek ±53 NM / ±8 hours. Every other leg is confirmed on your final passage plan.

Plate III — Fleet Register

Vessel assignments, cabin by cabin

Thirteen of the vessels most requested for Raja Ampat, with cabins and guest capacity at a glance. The full library compares 24 vessels, from entry phinisi to the 65-metre LAMIMA.

Plate IV — Price Ledger

What a Raja Ampat charter actually costs

Whole-vessel nightly bands across the classes we compare, plus the per-person cabin route. No hidden tiers — the desk quotes against these bands.

Plate VI — The Concierge Desk

The desk runs the whole passage

A Raja Ampat charter succeeds on more than the vessel. The right anchorages, the right itinerary for the season, and activities planned around tide and light decide the voyage — so our Bali desk handles all of it, end to end.

  1. 01

    Inquiry

One WhatsApp message or email: your dates, party and budget band. That is all the desk needs to start plotting.

  2. 02

    Vessel match

A shortlist from the 24 vessels we compare — with honest trade-offs on class, layout and rate, never a single-boat sales pitch.

  3. 03

    Itinerary design

A season-correct passage plan, day by day: north, south, combined, or an extension chart beyond Raja Ampat.

  4. 04

    Pre-departure

Sorong airport pickup, marine-park permits, flight guidance, provisioning and dive-guide assignments — arranged before you land.

  5. 05

    Onboard support

The concierge desk stays on call from Bali for the length of the charter, through disembarkation and documentation.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

When is the best time to charter in Raja Ampat?

October to April is prime season, with the calmest seas and best diving. Raja Ampat is possible year-round — the quiet months (June–August) are simply quieter and softer on rates. Cendrawasih Bay's whale sharks, reachable as a fourteen-night extension, are resident year-round, not seasonal.

How do we get to Raja Ampat?

The gateway to Raja Ampat is the city of Sorong (SOQ) in West Papua, Indonesia. International travelers typically fly into Jakarta (CGK) or Bali (DPS), and then take a domestic flight to Sorong. Our logistics team specializes in arranging the most efficient domestic travel connections for our clients, ensuring a smooth transfer from your international arrival to the yacht.

How do I book a charter?

Message the concierge desk on WhatsApp with your dates and party size. The desk matches vessels, designs the itinerary and handles permits, flights and provisioning. Peak Feb and Jul windows fill 12–18 months out, so early enquiry secures your dates.

Private charter or cabin charter — which is right for me?

A private (whole-vessel) charter gives you the boat, the route and the schedule to yourselves. A cabin charter books a berth on a scheduled liveaboard departure at a per-person rate — the better fit for couples and solo divers on a budget.
